iOS 10 Beta
I recently joined the Apple Beta Test program and have been running iOS 10 on my iPad Air 2 for a few weeks now. There are some issues with the new iOS. But to be fair, it is a Beta release I am running. I have had a few times that the iPad just locks up, but I can quickly click the Home button and then open the app again and it resolves the issue.
The settings changes are not as noticeable on the iPad as some are claiming they are on an iPhone. I do not own an iPhone, so I can’t speak to the issues others have raised about iOS 10 on the iPhone. I suppose the difference is that the iPad has a much larger screen size, and the “blades” (screens that slide in or out while you move from one setting to another) are not as size limited on the iPad as they are on an iPhone. But, as I understand it, one of the guiding concepts behind iOS 10 is that it functions the same way on all devices, regardless of their screen size. So I’m a bit puzzled by some of the comments I have seen.
I buy and sell a lot of Apple products. If you are considering an iPad, and just cannot bring yourself to spend the money for a new one, give me a call. We’ll talk about what you need, and I’ll find you a good deal. I buy gently used Apple products, and refresh them to Factory Fresh. You’ll get a fully checked out iPad, iPhone, or Mac computer that is ready for you to register with Apple as yours.
